Teacher Training and Development

Teacher Training and Ongoing Professional Development

We begin by carefully screening and selecting the very best providers of early childhood education. However, we do not stop there. Our teachers are held to an extremely high standard of excellence.

Our Teachers follow the code of conduct as set forth by the National Association for the Education of Young Children as well as standards set by our facility.

Each teacher is required to have a background check and maintain a current food handlers permit.

Our ongoing teacher training includes:
  • Fall training where teachers attend classes and workshops for 5 days taught by Love and Logic facilitators, art therapists and professionals in child development.
  • Monthly training meetings are focused on improving the classroom, teaching techniques, and innovative ways to teach the UDA Creative Arts Preschool Curriculum.
  • Teachers attend a weekend training each spring taught by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
  • Local Police, and Fire departments train our teachers annually in Safety, First Aid, CPR and Fire Drills.
Your child could not be in better hands!
