Teresa Pugmire

Cirriculum Consultant

Teresa is excited to participate in laying the groundwork of UDA Creative Arts Preschool. She has a love for children and a passion for education that has blessed the lives of all she has worked with. Teresa has served as a literacy coach for Jordan School District, training teachers in best practices and coordinating resources to assist teachers within the district. She was the Teacher Leader for the Granite School District Preschool Program for 8 years where she developed curriculum for preschool teachers and taught a monthly teacher development class called “Working with Young Children”.

Teresa has developed curriculum and taught all subjects in elementary school including reading, math, science and social studies. She absolutely loved being a Kindergarten teacher for five years, but made the decision to stay at home when her youngest daughter was born four years ago. She developed curriculum for and taught a successful preschool in her home and she is currently teaching online classes for Brigham Young University Idaho.

Fun Facts:
  • Mom of 6 wonderful children
  • Loves quilting, cooking, reading and spending time with her family at their family cabin in Southern Utah.
